THINK SNOW

Well in the last 3 days we've received 9-11" of snowfall.   No big dumps but steady.   Coverage is great everywhere right now. Can't make a bad turn.   Human triggered avalanches are a problem.  So always check the avalanche report at www.aspenskiandsnowreport.com. 

Aspen Mtn's Dumps and Walshes are the most fun.  The glades are now fully open in Snowmass's Cirque and hanging valley walls.   And Buttermilk had some of the best Powder turns of the year in there killer tree skiiing.   And the 15th Winter X Games courses are about sit up.  Do not drive to the games.  Take the bus instead.

Boy.  Skied 3 mountains in just one day.  All are having the best early season conditions in years.   I was finding powder on Snowmass, Ajax, and Buttermilk at the very end of the day even.   But hey a huge storm is coming.  Make sure you check our main website
